Brief introduction about GTTC
Government Tool Room and Training Centre is a technical education institute working under the skill development, entrepreneurship, and Livelihood Department, Govt. of Karnataka. It was established in Rajajinagar, Bangalore in 1972 in collaboration with the Government of Denmark and today it has 30 diploma colleges across the state. The mission of GTTC is to provide skilled human resources for existing and new industries. Diploma courses of GTTC Institute are approved by AICTE. GTTC diploma holders are in great demand in industries and multinational companies as the curriculum is not confined to the classroom but emphasizes hands-on learning. The institute has state-of-the-art lab facilities in GTTC colleges like High Speed 3 Axis CNC Machine, CNC Lathe, CNC Turner, Miller, Wire EDM, Design Analysis, Precision Manufacturing, Automation Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical, and Electronics. There are well-equipped laboratories.
How to apply for GTTC Diploma Admission 2023
(I) Candidates are informed to submit the application for GTTC courses for the year 2023-24 online only.
(II) Download the information from www.kea.kar.nic.in website.
(III) Fill out the application on www.kea.kar.nic.in website and submit it online only. The information regarding online application submission will be available on the KEA website.
(IV) Strictly follow the instructions given on the KEA website, or else the application will be rejected.
(V) Before filling out the application keep ready with scanned copies of your 10th marks card & Recent passport size photo.
(VI) Any information will be sent to the candidates through SMS or e-mail only. Hence enter the mobile number and E-mail ID of the candidate only.
(VII) The candidate will be held responsible for not getting information in case the mobile number and e-mail ID were wrongly entered.
(VIII) Candidates are informed to keep in touch with the KEA website until the completion of the final round of seat allotment.
(IX) The candidates claiming a seat under the Rural quota have to submit the Rural study certificate for 10 years with attestation from BEO.(X) The candidates claiming seats under the KKR quota have to submit the KKR certificate.
(XI) For document verification, candidates have to bring Original documents along with 2 sets of Photocopiesseats of the same. Candidates along with their parents have to attend for document verification at the verification centre at their own cost.
(XII) Selection of GTTC centre and course will be enabled online only after document verification.
(XIII) Candidates have to report to the allotted centre and have to pay the prescribed course fee.Â

GTTC Diploma Admission 2023 Criteria
First round selection list of candidates will be published on merit-cum-roster basis after verification of original documents after applying online. The remaining seats will be allotted in the second round on meritcum-roster basis. The counselling process is completely online and the candidate does not need to visit any GTTC centres. Seat allotment depends on the course, centre selected by the candidate during Option Entry
and merit-cum-roster. The seat matrix is as follows.

Examination fees structure
Examination Fee: Rs. 1200/- per semester for regular students
Failed Candidates: Rs. 300/- per subject
Re-total fee of answer script: Rs. 200/- per subject
Request for Answer script: Rs. 300/-per theory subject, Rs. 400/-per drawing/design subject
Answer script re-evaluation fee: Rs. 1200/- per subject
